MABELS TRAVEL BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Booking Confirmation
All bookings made with Mabels Travel Ltd ("the Agency") are subject to confirmation by the Agency. The confirmation will be sent to the client via email or other electronic means.Affiliation
Mabels Travel Ltd, an independent affiliate of Global Travel Collection who are ATOL protected, have ABTA membership and IATA accreditation.Agency Role
The Agency acts as an agent, arranging for the client to enter into contracts directly with the travel service providers (e.g. airlines, hotels, tour operators). The agent does not take principal liability for the services provided.Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. Payments can be made by credit/debit card, bank transfer, or other agreed-upon methods. The Agency reserves the right to cancel any booking if full payment is not received by the specified due date.Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation fees may apply depending on the terms and conditions of the service providers (e.g., airlines, hotels, tour operators) involved in the booking. The Agency will notify clients of any applicable cancellation fees at the time of booking. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the terms of the service provider and may be subject to administrative fees. The Agency will only be able to provide refunds to the client once they have received the refund from the supplier.Pricing
Pricing for travel services can change frequently. The agent reserves the right to vary or withdraw pricing at any time prior to the client paying in full.Amendments
Any amendments to bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. The Agency will make every effort to accommodate amendments requested by clients, but cannot guarantee availability or waive any charges imposed by service providers.Changes to Itinerary
The Agency reserves the right to modify itineraries and substitute accommodations or activities in exceptional circumstances if deemed necessary or advisable. Any changes will not result in a refund and the client is responsible for any additional costs incurred.Travel Documents
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that all necessary travel documents, including passports, visas, and vaccinations, are valid and obtained in a timely manner. The Agency shall not be liable for any consequences arising from the client's failure to obtain or present valid travel documents.Travel Insurance
The Agency strongly recommends that clients purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and loss of personal belongings. The Agency can assist clients in obtaining travel insurance upon request.Responsibility
The Agency acts as an agent for various service providers (e.g., airlines, hotels, tour operators) and does not assume responsibility for any acts, omissions, or negligence of these service providers. The liability of the Agency is limited to the booking facilitation services provided. The agent is not liable for the performance or acts/omissions of the travel suppliers. The Agency shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond its control.Delays and Rescheduling
The Agency cannot be held responsible for any delays or rescheduling that may affect the Travel Itinerary you have booked with us. These decisions are made by Third Party Suppliers of transport or by regulatory authorities, and are often beyond our control. If your Travel Itinerary includes a flight, you acknowledge that the terms and conditions of the Third Party Supplier for that flight apply, and that seating is not guaranteed. In the event of a downgrade or unavailability of seats, the Third Party Supplier's terms and conditions will govern, and we bear no liability or obligation for compensation. We regret that we are unable to offer compensation for travel delays or rescheduled flights that are beyond our reasonable control.Third Party Terms and Conditions
When booking through The Agency with a Third Party Supplier, you must follow their terms and conditions. Violating these terms constitutes a breach of our contract. You may be denied travel or asked to leave accommodation for unfit behavior or using threatening language. If this happens, our contract ends, and no refunds will be provided. You are responsible for expenses resulting from any breaches or denials. The Agency is not contractually obliged to relocate you or your travelling party or find an alternative travel itinerary in these circumstances, but we may do so on a case by case basis, subject to you covering the costs of any such alternative Travel Itinerary. You and your party are jointly liable for any property damage, including legal expenses.Alterations and Cancellation by us
While we strive to ensure your travel itinerary matches your booking confirmation, we reserve the right to cancel any booked travel itinerary or amend the details, including dates, of any booked travel itinerary. If we cancel a component of your travel itinerary you'll be offered equivalent alternatives or a full refund.If we amend the details of your travel itinerary you can proceed with the changes or withdraw, receiving:
- Equivalent alternatives.
- Lesser quality alternatives and a refund of the price difference.
- A full refund if no alternatives are available.If a significant portion of your Travel Itinerary cannot be provided:
- We'll arrange suitable alternatives at your expense.
- If alternatives aren't possible or are rejected, we'll arrange transport back to your departure point at your cost.The Agency is not liable for delays or failures beyond our control, including unforeseeable circumstances or failures attributable to you, your party, or unrelated third parties.Special Requirements
Customers with disabilities or special requirements should inform The Agency before confirming a booking to ensure suitability.Data Protection
The Agency will keep your data secure and only use it for fulfilling the contract, sharing it with Third Party Suppliers as needed. Your personal data won't be processed outside the UK or European Economic Area by us. However, it may be shared with Third Party Suppliers or other parties outside this area if legally required or necessary for your Travel Itinerary.Complaints
If you're unhappy with any part of your travel Itinerary, please notify the relevant Third Party Supplier(s) and us promptly. If the Supplier cannot resolve the issue, contact us by email or at 07812 200 968. We'll investigate and aim to resolve complaints swiftly. If unresolved, please write to us within 14 days of your trip's end.Indemnification
The client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Agency and its representatives from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:- Any breach of these Booking Terms and Conditions by the Client.
- Any acts or omissions of the Client, including but not limited to, negligence, misconduct, or violation of any laws or regulations.
- Any injury, death, or loss of property suffered by the Client or any third party during the course of travel, except to the extent caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Mabels Travel Ltd.We will notify you of any claim, and you have the right to participate in the defence and settlement, but we retain control over the process. This indemnification survives termination of these Terms.Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.Acceptance
By making a booking with the Agency, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and us and supersede any previous agreement or understanding and may not be varied except in writing between you and us. All other terms and conditions expressed or implied by statute or otherwise are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.Mabels Travel Ltd

Typically, there will be no charge to you for our services; we make money from the suppliers we use in your itinerary. Occasionally, for smaller trips, we will need to add a small planning and management fee, which is individually tailored to each trip, taking into account various factors due to its comprehensive coverage.What is the difference between Mabels Travel and other bigger travel agencies like the AMEX program?
